Rona and I have been partnered for about 1 1/2 years. We are both not perfect, but we are perfect for each other.
Back in 1985, I was T-boned in a car accident. I had many spinal fractures and 8 spinal surgeries with titanium parts. Needless to say, I am unable to bend over or walk for long periods. Rona picks up anything I ask. The remote control, my cell phone, dirty laundry, turns lights on and off, opens and closes doors, opens the refrigerator, and can get a bottle of water! Rona will wait patiently while I go through the mail so she can throw away the envelopes in the trash.
Emotionally, Rona seems to know when I am having a bad day. She comes up to me and puts her head on my shoulder. She often sleeps on my feet, so she knows if I move or try to get up. She wants to be where I am always. Rona is faithful, loyal, kind, and obedient. She listens better than my children ever did!!
Since I was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago she has been by my side for support. She means the world to me, and I love her very much. Sometimes I do not know how I walked through life without her. She is my sunshine!
