Group Classes
Basic Obedience
Circle Tail can help make you a better dog owner. Learn how to train your dog from the same people who train our service dogs. Small class size means personal attention.
Class meets once per week for 7 weeks. Dogs and puppies who have been in the home for at least two weeks and have received at least two sets of vaccinations are welcome. The class covers on-leash basic obedience. Emphasis is placed on leadership and developing a relationship with your dog.
PLEASE NOTE: The 1st week of the Basic Obedience class is completed via Zoom. We will send you an invitation link to the Zoom class, and the class material as an attachment to review. The remaining six classes are completed at the Circle Tail Training Center. Please send proof of vaccines to info@circletail.org prior to your first class. We will be limiting in class participation to 1 handler and 1 additional participant per dog.

Intermediate Obedience I
Focus of class is on basic obedience commands around distractions and building distance from dog while giving a command. Additional obedience commands include heel, stand, side, look and place. Class meets once per week for 6 weeks. We will be limiting in class participation to 1 handler and 1 additional participant per dog. Intermediate Obedience II
Focus of class is on improving reliability of commands taught in basic and intermediate I obedience classes by adding more duration, distraction, and distance. Additional obedience commands include follow and back. A few tricks will be added based on class preference. Class meets once per week for 6 weeks. We will be limiting class participation to 1 handler and 1 additional participant per dog. Advanced Obedience
You will continue to work on obedience and advanced obedience skills around distractions and at a distance. The handler and dog are also prepared to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test.
