We are absolutely in love with our puppy! Completely happy with our choice! She had a great first day at her new home. Only a few accidents but many successes outside! She sure does pee A LOT!!!! Last night when it was time for bed she went right in her cage (which she loves!!!), curled up in a ball and went right to sleep! No whining, crying, or barking! She slept through the whole night and her cage was dry when I woke her up this morning. We love her!!!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful dog! Talk to you soon, |
![]() Hello
friends! I'm sorry it has taken so long to give you an update!
I have been so busy growing and having fun that I completely forgot
to write! I left Circle Tail in September 2009, weighing about
10 lbs and going by the name "Jones." I am now known as "Rocket",
weigh 35 lbs, and will soon be 8 months old. I am a very good
boy for my family and they always tell me how much they love me.
I get along well with my two cat brothers, though the bigger one is
still afraid of me. I keep trying to let him know I only want
to play but he still avoids me.
|
My other cat brother has neurological issues with occasional seizures and when he is sick, I am always by his side to be sure he is ok. He has been a great friend to me since the day I came home. I have a few dog friends that come over to play in my back yard sometimes, too. I love to run super-fast and chase other dogs. I also love spending time with my small human friend each day. We play ball and tug and we love birdwatching together. He gives me treats and tells me I am a good boy. He is the best. My brothers and sisters stayed at Circle Tail too. I hope they are as happy with their families as I am with mine. It was great to see my sister, Annika, now called Lily, on your site. She looks so happy! Hi, Lily! I know our momma was a beagle but we all looked pretty different from one another. My new family rubbed my cheek with a cotton swab and sent it to a lab. They got a paper that said I am part beagle and part chow chow! They think that might explain my curly tail and fluffy tufts around my neck and hind legs. They are always telling me how cute and unique I am. :) |

Narra is a great addition to our family. It is as if she has always been with us. She and Echo (the brown one) are the best of friends. They love playing with each other as you can see. Narra also loves playing in the recent snow. We are so glad that she is kennel trained, she destroyed her pillow one day. I am so thankful that it was not any of the walls or the couch. Narra is a true blessing in fur. |
![]() At
the beginning, our other dog Phoebe was having sharing issues, her
house, her toy, her everything! Now she sits next to Violet's crate
while we are gone and is so excited to have her to play with. She
likes to put Violet in her place, but to an eight year old, a seven
month old puppy..... can be annoying to say the least! (oh, the
vet thinks she is a mix of lab and vizsla, and that she is quite
a wonderful dog!) |
Charles and I look at Violet everyday and can't believe how well this has worked out! This dog is magic. The skills she has are so great, I keep expecting to find her doing our taxes, or making us dinner one of these days. (I do wish there was a video of the dogs doing training at the jail, so owners can keep up with the same training, we don't want to loose the touch!)I'm not sure if you have had a slew of interest in circle tail lately, but I have told EVERY SINGLE PERSON who ever sees her or me or us at the dog park, at the nail shop, the grocery store... where ever!!! what a great program this is.... EVERYONE is amazed! I keep telling them, I would have gone back the next day and adopted 17 more if they come out like this! (too bad our house is small) You all are so freakin' wonderful I can't say it enough! We want Violet's (Viola's) trainer person to know that she has a good home, and we thank him or her with all our hearts for doing such a wonderous job training her. She is getting better at not jumping up to greet people.... Lisa and Linda, thanks for your help getting us together, and for the world to know what a breath of fresh air this dog is for our family. Happy 2010, Violet is annoying her sister again for a toy! |

Prence is doing very well and he has a new name. It is Buddy.
He sits, shakes, lays down, and goes to the back door when he wants
outside for private time. We sent him to the Vet . He got all
his shots and flee treatment. Doctor said he is in great condition.
Today we gave him a bath (that's another story). He will start
school soon. He favors a loveseat we gave him (it was heading for
the curb anyway) and he sits there playing with his toys. He
plays gently with all the kids. |

Hunter (a.k.a. Walnut) has settled in and bonded perfectly with his new family. He's such a well mannered, sweet, cuddly, adorable, soft, quiet, healthy pup. My family and I are SO in love with 'Wally Wigglebottom" He is a real 'Momma's puppy boy" Our daughter and him have bonded very well...and with us too. He loves long walks on our trails, 'in-sniff-igating", playing fetch, chewing toys, curling up on couch with us and trying to make friends with the cats. I catch them sleeping together all the time...but they are a little shy with big pup. I am so very happy to have him in our lives! He only cries when we come home...wiggles all over with joy !! I know he was meant to be our dog. Whoever trained him did a wonderful job! He's just a perfect pup and a perfect fit ! Thank you Circle Tails! |

Buoy, formerly known as Roch, is doing great. He settled right in to his new family and home, where he scatters his toys thoroughly. I don’t have any pictures on this computer, but made a note to send some. He is wonderful with the kids, was extremely well trained in your prison program, and absolutely loves to chase the tennis ball and Frisbee. |

We adopted Willow in early December and wanted to provide an update. Willow is doing great! She is extremely comfortable in her home with all of us around, and she has integrated into the family quite well. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is fun and playful without being obnoxious and demanding. She alerts us when someone knocks or rings the door bell, but she has no intention of being overprotective. I love her sweet personality, and how well she gets along with us and everybody else. My kids are wonderful to her; they love and kiss on her all the time. They are so glad to have her. Having a dog has made a positive impact in their lives. I would have to say Willow lucked out, too. She has no worries about being mistreated in any way, and she seems to trust us completely. Thanks, Circle Tail, for everything you do to mold these dogs into great future family members. |

I just wanted to tell you how in love my husband and I are with Barney (we changed his name) and how amazing he was with 6 grandchildren at our house at Christmastime--4 of the grandchildren have never had a dog of their own. At any given time Barney had 4 or 5 kids rubbing on his belly!! He didn't jump on them, didn't bark, didn't growl--he just sought them out and they sought him out for lots of loving. He went with us on Christmas Eve to our daughter's house and, except for opening gifts, was the center of attention. Our daughter who lives in London, Ohio is now looking for a rescue dog just like Barney!! Linda says now that she knows there are dogs like Barney out there she and her family want one just like him. Their 10 year old was trying to talk us out of Barney so we could get another dog. I gave Linda your website today to check out your dogs. My husband and I hold all of you in high regard. We must have been meant to wait 6 months after our dog died in April or we would not have Barney. |

Here is the beautiful Ping Pong!! His only problem is trying to figure out how to follow both of us around the house at the same time!! Thanks again! |

Don't know if you remember us, but we adopted Gibbs. I kept forgetting to send you some pics of him, but finally remembered. He is the greatest dog! He gets lots of loving daily from the 4 of us. Loves playing ball, treats and rawhides :-) Thanks so much for helping us with him; he is awesome! |

As you will see below, both Luke (Cruz) and Trent (Koz) are enjoying life together. Trent has been such a wonderful addition to our family. He is an excellent running mate for Tom. Tom and I have mapped off 3 miles in Mariemont. Tom runs with one of the pups and I power walk in the opposite direction. We switch pups when we meet mid-route. They all have me up to 9 mile power walks and both can easily run 12 miles with Tom as he trains for the next marathon. What a blessing both Luke and Trent have been in our lives! Please pass along a warm hello from the pups and sincerest thanks to all at CircleTail for making these wonderful adoptions possible. |

Paddy is doing great. She's a wonderful addition to our family. She is very loving and sweet. She is also very energetic and athletic. She definitely loves to go for romps in the woods. She and Frieda (our other dog) have become great pals. Paddy's a little aggressive with our cat but we're working on that. Paddy is a real Daddy's girl. My husband calls her his shadow. Attached are some photos and hopefully a video or two of Paddy and Frieda. |

I just wanted to send you an email to let you know that Merlin is part of our family.... everyone loves him so much. We have all bonded with him, but most of all my 10 year old son Josh... he absolutely loves his dog. thank you so much for providing this part of our family. |

Hi, sorry for the delay getting back to you. We started calling her Belle, after one of Vondra's great grandmothers. She's got her shot updated and has assimilated right into the family. I attached a couple of pics. |

Hank (formerly known as Skylar) is doing just great. At about 7 months old he's hit 40 lbs and seems to be growing every day. He is happy & healthy and is a great addition to our family. Although I think our 10 year old, 18lb housecat Sam might say differently! They chase each other all over the house every day. It looks like fun for Hank ... Not so sure for Sam. |

Thanks for checking in. We renamed Goodman; his new name is Hamlet. When we got him from Circle Tail, Lisa told us he was a hooligan when he first arrived at Circle Tail, but he had made good progress. We have enjoyed him since we got him in late September. He’s turning out to be a very good dog. He still has lots of puppy energy for sure. He’s enrolled in his second training class, and he’s making good progress. We think he’s a very smart dog and smart enough to know when he doesn’t want to do what we are asking him to do! He loves to sleep with us, and he’s good at it. He’s a very good snuggler, and for this reason we’re glad he remained smaller than we had originally hoped. We also have Romeo who was formerly Tabano. He’s still very much a puppy, too. He’s much more submissive than Hamlet, and I think gets LOTS of attention from Hamlet all of the time—probably more attention than he wants. However, they do very much enjoy each other’s company. Romeo is in his first training class, and he’s not sure how he likes it. He likes being around other dogs, but he’s a “fraidy cat” a lot of the time. We’re very happy with both Hamlet and Romeo, and we look forward to many years of companionship with them. |
